He studied Business Administration at the Ibero-American University and completed his postgraduate courses in Marketing, Sales and Human Resources Management at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He currently is the President of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology A.C. (COMCE) as well as President of the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness A.C. (IMCO) and member of the Mexican Business Council. Furthermore, he is member of the World Council of AB INBEV, the largest global brewing group, which recognized him as the architect behind the international success of the corporation.
