Serra is a consultant who specializes in futures, strategy and intelligence and is currently the Research Director at the Center for Postnormal Policy & Futures Studies, as well as an associate professor at Blanquerna (Ramon Llull University), where Serra coordinates the Master of Global Security and Anticipatory Intelligence. Serra is also a fellow member and Vice-president of the Ibero-American chapter of the World Futures Studies Federation and part of the editorial committee for the magazines Futures, World Future Review and Revista IAPEM.
