Director of Public Affairs and Communications, OECD / Spain-United Kingdom
Took over as the OECD’s Director of Public Affairs and Communications in 2008. He coordinated the process of reflection which culminated in the redefinition of the organization’s mission. He previously worked in the European Commission for 13 years as a trade relations negotiator between the EU and Latin America and as a special consultant to Pascal Lamy. Prior to this, he headed the EC’s Media and Public Diplomacy operations in the USA and the United Kingdom. Holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations from Sciences Po Paris and an MA in Modern History from Cambridge University. [Spain – United Kingdom].
