Principal Advisor European Affairs at LLYC
Expert in European political, institutional and regulatory matters. A diplomat since 1987, he has spent most of his career working in European affairs. He has served as Director General of Foreign Policy for Europe (2002–04), Spanish Ambassador to Romania and Moldova (2005-09), Ambassador to Germany (2012-16) and Permanent Representative to the European Union (2016–21). Since 2022, he is Principal Advisor for European Affairs at LLYC.
