Senator of the Republic (2012-2018), where she is Chair of the Senate Commission for Foreign Relations with Latin America and the Caribbean
She has a degree in Communication from the University Anáhuac del Norte. She works as Governance and Public Policies Professor at the Panamerican University. She was local MP (2003-2006) and first woman to ever head the PAN in Mexico DF (2007-2010). She worked as local MP and Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group of the PAN in the ALDF (2009-2012). Currently, she is a Senator of the Republic (2012-2018), where she is Chair of the Senate Commission for Foreign Relations with Latin America and the Caribbean, Secretary of the DF Commission and the Special Commission for Metropolitan Development. Ms. Gomez is member of the Culture, Human Rights and Mobility Commissions as well. She was appointed as Mexican Vice President in the Latin American Parliament.
