Rocio Velarde holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Lima and a master’s in Business Studies from the Monterrey Thunderbird School of Global Management & Technology. She joined Citibank in 1999, where she has held management positions in various departments, including Transactional Banking, Transactional Banking Sales and Solutions, and International Trade Products. She has acted as general manager of Citibank Ecuador since 2019. Rocio is also deputy chair of the AmCham Chamber of Commerce in Quito and a board member for both Junior Achievement Ecuador and the Association of Private Banks of Ecuador.
